As our philosophy is based on self-directed learning, we do not have a rigid curriculum. Instead, we help each student build a personalized learning plan. Each student creates their own curriculum with the support and guidance of our education team. It is self-generated and unique to each learner as they have the agency to choose which classes and clubs they wish to participate in.

Galileo offers writing (project-based), reading (book clubs and literacy), math (tutorial setting), science (experiments), and many STEAM opportunities, however, the scope and sequence of these classes are not aligned with any particular outside entity.

Learning is approached from an asynchronous perspective at Galileo and no two students have the same experience. The instructors are free to teach the material in their professional area of focus as they see fit. And the beauty of the way kids learn with us is they can mix the academic work with their other interests. It's all learning!
